Food vouchers to help during half term

Until 4.45pm on Friday 6 November, parents can claim one £15 voucher for each child who is eligible for free school meals. SBC is offering the food vouchers to children who receive free school meals, to help struggling parents feed them during half term.

Claims can be made via the local welfare provision form on the SBC website – in the ‘more information’ section you must state 'Children’s food vouchers'.

Residents who do not have access to the Internet can call 01753 875111.

Parents will need to provide proof of their child’s eligibility for free school meals. For more details, visit the news section of the SBC website.

Vouchers will be provided as hard copies or via email and can be used to purchase food items at any Sainsbury’s store.

The £15 food vouchers are available for every Slough child who currently receives free school meals at a Slough or out-of-borough school.
