On Wednesday 9^th March a group of our Year 9 and 10 girls attended a football festival at Arbour Park Stadium in Slough (photos attached). This was a great enrichment experience for the girls at a quality sporting venue. The day was hosted by the Slough School Sport Network, and it included three practical football sessions led by a female futsal coach and staff from the Berks & Bucks FA. Additionally, there were two indoor conference room sessions. One was led by 'Aik Saath', focussing on the importance of tolerance and community cohesion, the other led by 'Sport in Mind' focussing on mental health and wellbeing through sport. Altogether, this was an insightful and positive day for the girls as part of their wider secondary school education.
