On Wednesday 7th June, the Year 7 Students participated in a series of Engineering and Physics workshops delivered by 'Energy Quests' external tutors. During the first session the students were tasked with engineering materials, including an orange to conduct electricity. In the second session students designed and engineered a water filtration unit. The students were thoroughly engaged throughout. They learnt about various engineering opportunities in different vocations, but the key to the event was their hands on application of scientific skills and applying them to real life scenarios.
