Wexham Continues to be a GOOD School. (Ofsted May 2023)
You are here:Ofsted inspected the school on the 24th and 25th May 2023.
I am very pleased to inform you that Wexham School continues to be a good school in all aspects.
Given the more rigorous inspection regime since 2019, which has seen many outstanding or good schools downgraded, this is even more exceptional and a reflection of the hard work that everyone in the school community places on providing the best education and opportunities that we can. Of note Ofsted found us to be a friendly and highly inclusive school, where pupils appreciate the relationships that they develop with staff. They found that we have a supportive and caring culture where pupils feel happy and safe. They found pupils enjoy taking part in the wide range of clubs and school trips. Ofsted praised our well planned and delivered, broad and balanced curriculum which all pupils, including those with SEND, benefit from. They noted that leaders and staff help pupils to develop their knowledge and understanding through this broad and ambitious curriculum and that SEND pupils receive good support. Our Sixth Form prepares students well for their next steps, and they make a valuable contribution to the wider school.
