On Tuesday 18th June, the Year 8 students had the opportunity to attend a STEM Taster Day being hosted at Brunel University. The day was designed to spark their curiosity and enhance their understanding of STEM subjects. The day featured a variety of projects, such as engineering chocolate bridges, developing model cars, and the aeronautics of planes and helicopters.  The students gained practical insights into the real-world applications of STEM concepts and developed a deeper appreciation for science and engineering.
