SCIENCE WEEK AT WEXHAM COURT
You are here:Week commencing Monday 18th March 2019, Wexham Court celebrated British Science week. Our Science team, and two of our 6th form students were invited into Wexham Court to give demonstrations during their assemblies for the year 4, 5 and 6 students, and a separate demonstration the lower school.
In order to engage the pupils they demonstrated what shape a magnet field is, conservation of energy, forces within the water cycle where they tried cleaning water with filters. For the finale they showed how strands of delicate material could be used together to make a strong rope this was demonstrated by lifting a pupil with 4 strands of toilet roll rope.
