On Thursday 23rd February, Nick Burrows, Head of Tesco UK Assets and Investments gave a TED talk to our Year 12 students which was truly inspirational. It was a business model that our students could relate to in particular his use of technology. He is personally in charge of 2800 Tesco properties nationally and had recently sold Tesco Poland He has worked for the food retailer all over the world notably, the USA,  China and Central Europe. He had a real story to tell, from his humble beginning's, and his struggles with dyslexia. He motivated our students about stretching themselves out of their comfort zones and taking ownership of both their learning and life paths. He took questions from our student's, as part of his Q & A.
