On Friday 23rd June some of our year 8 and 9 Students accompanied by members of our team departed school at 6.45am and travelled by coach to Paris, visiting a chocolaterie in France where they tasted a variety of chocolates. We arrived at the Chateau de Grande Romaine, a PGL center near Paris that evening. The following day we visited Paris, taking in the sights such as the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe and the basilica of Le Sacre-Coeur.  Later that day we enjoyed a boat tour on the river Seine taking in all the main sights. After dinner back at Chateau De Grande Romaine we all participated in various activities that had been organised for us. Sunday morning we visited the walled- in city of Boulogne the Castle of Fontainebleau, and then spent the afternoon on the beach before catching the ferry back to England. An amazing time was had by all.
