The Business Studies department is a successful, thriving and popular department; comprising of a Leader of Department and further three specialist teachers
We are situated in the Sixth Form Block. All lessons take place in three dedicated classrooms. The classrooms also come with computer suites. Every student is provided with hard disk storage space on the school intranet. An extensive range of resources for all three subjects has been built up within the Department.
KEY STAGE 4
Students can choose GCSE Business Studies as part of their option choices. Whilst this is a new course for students, having not studied it at KS3, it remains popular with students as they learn how to plan, manage and understand the ways in which business organisations are run.
Students will be prepared for progression onto appropriate KS5 course options.
